Coke Studio Season 12 has made a phenomenal return with Rohail Hayatt as the producer, who is a former member of the band Vital Signs. Mr Hayatt has produced Coke Studio for six years before he backed off in 2013.

Atif Aslam has always succeeded in winning the hearts of the audience in Pakistan. The new Coke Studio Season 12 has finally kicked off and by starting it off with the face and voice like Atif Aslam, it truly was an amazing treat for the listeners. It has been yet another hit cover recited after his Tajdar e Haram.

Atif Aslam has sung Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s hamd ‘Wohi Khuda Hai’ in his own mellow and melody. The hamd was concluded gorgeously by recital of Durood Shareef and salutations were sent to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). With a record of over 13 Million views in less than a week, Atif Aslam has won the hearts of a million followers. The hamd is simple and involves very less instruments which is unique in style and different from the usual Coke Studio.

This hamd was written by Muzaffar Warsi, which was an eloquence of praise of Allah and His supremacy. The Nusrat Fateh’s version of Wohi Khuda Hai was a version of its own too. The song is about a strong bond between man and the supreme Lord.

In an interview Atif Aslam has declared that he dedicates his version of Wohi Khuda Hai to his five-year-old.
